How we work What we work on Case studies Why a boutique Talk To Us

On the ground before the plan. Still there after it works.

Reiv Team is a sustainability consultancy in Amsterdam, small on purpose, working with a handful of large European organizations at any given time. The plan gets made with you and delivered beside you. Then it gets written up so a board reads a story it recognizes, in place of a dashboard it has to decode.

The report and the dashboard a board has to decode The report

The report is where most of it goes wrong.

A materiality assessment tells a company where to look. A greenhouse-gas inventory tells it how bad the number is. Neither tells the sustainability director standing in front of the board why any of it deserves next year's budget.

That gap is where most sustainability work quietly dies. Reiv Team closes it by writing the human version alongside the technical one: the plant, the supplier, the decision, the person who has to change how they work on Monday. The data stays rigorous. The reason it matters becomes something people can carry.

Across Europe

Who we work with

Our clients are among the largest companies in Europe, and their sustainability questions rarely fit a template. A food and agriculture group carries most of its impact in fields and supply routes it will never own outright. A financial institution answers for what it finances long before it answers for its own offices. A health-technology company has to prove a product is responsible from the mine to the ward. A retailer lives and dies by thousands of suppliers across dozens of countries.

These are not problems a junior team solves from a desk in another city. We take on a small number of engagements at once so the senior people you meet stay on your account from the first site visit to the last review.

Walking the site before the plan is drawn Four movements

We arrive before the plan exists.

Most consultancies land with a framework and leave with a slide deck. Reiv Team does it the other way around. Before anyone drafts a strategy, we walk the site and sit with the people running the operation, learning what already works and what will quietly resist change.

Then comes planning with you, delivery beside you, and a stay through the part where good intentions meet an actual supply chain. The method has four movements. The last one is where others tend to leave.

Testimonials

The person who pitched us was the person who did the work. I know that sounds like a small thing. It isn't. I've paid a lot of money before to meet a senior partner once and then deal with graduates for a year. This was the opposite.
Head of ESG, European financial institution
Most consultants are gone the week after the strategy lands. These ones stayed. When a target started slipping about six months in, they caught it early and we fixed it quietly. If they'd left when everyone else does, it would have become a real problem.
Chief Sustainability Officer, health-technology company
Honestly, I expected another deck. What we got was people who turned up at the plant, talked to my operations lead for two days, and came back with something she actually agreed with. That never happens. It made my job of selling it upward a lot easier.

Grounded in the frameworks that now govern you

The obligation is real. CSRD reporting, the EU Taxonomy, the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, the GHG Protocol, CDP disclosure, and EUDR traceability set the floor for any large company operating in Europe. For Reiv Team, compliance is the baseline. The interesting work sits above it, in the things a company would want to do even if no regulator were watching.

Amsterdam, where Reiv Team is based Amsterdam based

A boutique, and that is the point.

When you hire Reiv Team, the person who scoped your work is the person doing it. No layers, no handover to a junior team, no account manager between you and the thinking. Senior attention is what a boutique is for.

We work with a small number of large companies at once, so we start every engagement with a real conversation about whether we are the right fit. Amsterdam-based, working across Europe.
